Apache Databases

My first plan for the day was to read on and try Apache Cassandra for a class project. Between Apache Cassandra and CouchDB, I chose the former because it seemed more popular. Facebook, I guess, is one of the first that used it in their system. Cassandra is a distributed DBMS while CouchDB is document-oriented. At first look, working with documents will be easier to do but Cassandra’s popularity was a huge factor also. Cassandra won.

Target: Cafe Mary Grace

Once in a while, I am Google-ing for some Italian restaurants in Trinoma where I can possibly eat one of these days. Italianni’s has been always a choice but its pricey menu is holding me back from visiting the restaurant. Luckily, I found Cafe Mary Grace in the web. Though I used to pass by in this restaurant, I didn’t expect it offers a lot of varieties. It looked like a pastry shop to me until I found this website: http://www.marygracecafe.com/.
